The City of Refuge Stewardship Initiative is a three-year capital giving program birthed to support the vision of the Mt. Rose Church of God in Christ. The goal of the Stewardship Initiative is to positively affect the spiritually, socially and economically disadvantaged through increased aid to home and foreign missions.

A stewardship initiative is similar to a capital campaign because it is a specific effort to raise new money for growth initiatives, new infrastructure and major programs associated with our mission. The City of Refuge campaign was named a stewardship initiative as a constant reminder of our ability, both individually and as a body, to be good stewards of the resources with which we have been entrusted. The stewardship initiative will ultimately stretch us as individual stewards, and better position the ministry to steward the vision for the City of Refuge.

…And We Will Do This through dedicated prayer, significant and consistent giving and 100% participation from the Mt. Rose family. Upon successful completion of the stewardship initiative we will build two orphanages in Uganda and South Africa, lay the foundation to build a local boys home, retire the debt of the current mortgage, and expand the ministry of the City of Refuge.
